About this training

Our 60 minute online course gives you an introduction to content accessibility.

The session will help you understand the importance of inclusion and accessibility. We use lived experience to show you the barriers disabled people face. Our training aims to raise awareness of accessibility and give trainees some basics they can start using straight away.

We’re based in the UK and our event times are BST or GMT.

This is a ticketed course with people from other organisations. If you want to run training for your employees only, we offer this session to businesses. Take a look at our introduction to accessibility training page for more information.

What you will learn:

The 60 minute training session will cover:

  • Lived experience and the social model of disability
  • Why accessibility is legally important for your organisation
  • How many disabled people are in the UK and the cost of losing disabled customers
  • The importance of researching and testing with disabled people
