About this training

Our 2 hour and 30 minute training gives you an introduction to recruiting disabled talent.

The session will help you to understand some of the barriers disabled jobseekers experience. It explores challenges many disabled people have when applying for and starting a new job.

We use real life examples and stories to help show the barriers as well as the adjustments you can make. We will give you guidance on talking about disability and using inclusive language. Our training aims to give you practical support to:

  • hiring managers
  • HR professionals
  • business partner roles
  • employment roles

The session is run by Scope’s Inclusive Workplace Specialist, Sally Hooper.

We’re based in the UK and our event times are BST or GMT.

This is a ticketed event with people from various organisations. If you want to run this training for your employees only, we offer this session to businesses. Take a look at our disability recruitment training page for more information.
