Our mission

We want to end disability inequality and support greater opportunities for disabled people. There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. And we want our potential to be recognised. But we can’t achieve this alone.

Businesses can be a force for change. And we’re here to help them do that for disabled people.

Disability experts

Elisabeth Ward Lead Accessibility Specialist

Elisabeth created Scope’s content accessibility training offer and co-created the introduction to disability training.

She now supports businesses and public services to improve their accessibility.

Elisabeth was born without her right hand and she lives with chronic migraines. She has a cat called Roxy, and she knits and crochets for fun.
LC Groux-Moreau Accessibility Specialist

LC delivers our accessibility training courses. They are a qualified teacher and helped to develop the Erasmus+ project Train the Competent. This was a 3-year project with charities across Europe.

LC is proudly disabled. They are neurodivergent and have physical impairments. In their spare time they enjoy crafting and spending time with their dog.
Sally Hooper Workplace Disability Inclusion Programme Lead

Sally is an expert in disability inclusion. She has over 15 years of experience working in the Welfare to Work sector.

Sally helps organisations to become more inclusive through training such as Introduction to disability training. She supports them with recruitment, retention and progression of disabled employees.

Sally has dyslexia, anxiety and depression. She enjoys the challenge of learning and likes to have a go at cryptic crosswords. Sally enjoys cake baking. She also likes riding her motorcycle with a wonderful group of local bikers.
Heather Reeve Digital Accessibility Specialist

Heather is an experienced website auditor. She understands the challenges experienced by disabled people using digital products.

Heather actively promotes equal access to information. She is passionate about removing the digital barriers that many disabled people face.

Heather describes herself as a metal head. She loves gigs, mosh pits and meeting random people. Heather has a rescue dog who loves cuddles, walks and chasing pigeons. She relaxes reading gothic and horror novels and playing video games.

New business

Hetti Hartnall Key Business Development Lead

Hetti’s speciality is developing transformational and strategic partnerships. She believes that the best way to make change is by collaborating with businesses.

Hetti has brought on many different corporate partners during her time at Scope. These include industry leaders such as Barclays, Skyscanner, Bupa, Toyota and the NHS.

Hetti is a self-confessed ‘dog obsessee’ and a huge fan of soul music.
Nicole Hinson Business Development Executive

Nicole works with Hetti in the New Business team. She connects with businesses, learns their needs and builds bespoke partnerships with them. Nicole is passionate about making an impact. She also loves to help businesses on their disability inclusion journey.

Nicole loves dogs. She has two border terriers, Rolo and Pepper.  Nicole is mum to a ‘very sassy’ 5-year-old.
