Business Disability Forum

Business Disability Forum is the leading business membership organisation in disability inclusion. They work with businesses and Government to improve the experiences of disabled people. Their services support organisations to remove barriers to inclusion.

Business Disability Forum work with over 580 members. The members employ around 20% of the UK workforce and an estimated 8 million people worldwide.
Disability Confident

The Disability Confident scheme supports employers to employ. And keep disabled people in work. The scheme gives you free guidance and advice to help you do this. It encourages employers to think about how they can employ disabled people. It does this by providing free guidance and resources.

Joining the scheme will help you lead the way for positive change. The scheme has 3 levels to support you at each part of your Disability Confident journey.
PurpleSpace

PurpleSpace is the world’s only networking and professional development hub. Created for disabled employees, network and resource group leaders and allies from all sectors and trades. PurpleSpace’s mission is to build disability confidence from the inside out.
Unlearning Ableism

Unlearning Ableism was co-founded by Celia Charters-Aris and Jamie Shields. Celia and Jamie share their lived experience to educate people about ableism. Unlearning Ableism offers a range of services for any organisation. They can support to develop practical solutions that use the social model of disability.

Valuable 500

Valuable 500 is a global group of over 500 partners and companies. They work together to end disability exclusion. These companies have made a public commitment to:

– Make disability a boardroom priority. Put disabled people in leadership roles.

– Collect more accurate data on disability and publish it in a public forum.

– Represent people with disabilities accurately and authentically.

Valuable 500 believes we can change society by changing how we do business. They won’t stop until everyone is seen and valued equally.
