What’s the Workstyle Revolution?
The Workstyle Revolution’s mission is to create a happier, more fulfilled society. Created through a world of work without bias. It promotes a world where work adapts to the individual, not the other way around.
The founders of Workstyle, Lizzie Penny and Alex Hirst, have written the principles. These are included in their best selling book, Workstyle. It’s a compelling case for how individualised working improves inclusion, productivity, and wellbeing.
For employers The Workstyle Revolution has launched a new initiative – Workstyle Pioneers: The 21.
This programme will place 21 individuals from unemployment into six-month paid positions. The support provided will mean each individual can work in a workstyle way. This will mean they can fit their work around their lives. The findings from the programme will be used to create more opportunities for those excluded from work.
Scope is partnering with the Workstyle Revolution on this initiative. Through Scope for business, we can provide support to employers to help them become more inclusive, and open to adjustments.
This marks a joint effort uniting charities. By working together, we can address intersectional inclusion for many excluded groups. For example, Astriid is involved to support those living with chronic illnesses. Autistica joins to advocate for individuals with neurodiversity. Mind is a partner supporting those experiencing mental health problems.
