The new involuntary PPM installation licence conditions are welcome, though they do not go far enough in protecting vulnerable disabled consumers, consumers aged 75+ or aged 5 and under, or those who may be in a negative budget. Scope would ask that forced PPM installations and switches are banned for disabled households. There is a focus on flexible energy consumption, but this is not possible for some consumers who rely on electric equipment or heating relating to a disability, illness, or their condition(s)/age.
