Entrance to the Salesforce Tower on Bishopsgate

The entrance to the Salesforce Tower is located on Bishopsgate but can be easy to miss. The building has metal zigzags up the sides. It has a very large aquarium in reception.

The venue

This event is on floor 36 of the Salesforce Tower, the Ohana floor. When you arrive at the building, you’ll need to check in at reception. The team will give you a lanyard to show you’re a guest of the event. There are a few things to note:

  • it can take up around 15 minutes to get registered and escorted to the event so please arrive in plenty of time
  • a registration link will be sent by Salesforce closer to the event date, this can make checking in at reception smoother
  • please bring identification with you as you may be asked to show it at reception

You’ll be asked to wait in the seating area of reception until a member of staff comes to take you to the Ohana floor. You cannot access the floor alone. A Salesforce member of staff will also need to be with you if you leave the Ohana floor. There is a reception in the event space where colleagues are available to take you out if you’d like a break.

There is step-free access from reception to the Ohana floor. There are two types of lifts in the building:

  • internal lifts with no windows
  • glass external facing lifts

These move quite quickly. Please let us know when you book your tickets if you’d prefer to use the internal facing lifts. We can also arrange this once you arrive.

There is an accessible toilet on the Ohana floor. There are also other gendered toilets available on the same floor. These are cubicles within larger rooms with shared sinks.

The Ohana floor on floor 36 has floor to ceiling windows all around. There will be a variety of seating available including armchairs and sofas.

A room on the Ohana floor in the Salesforce Tower. It has comfy chairs and floor to ceiling windows with a view of the Gherkin building.

Quiet space

The library on the Ohana floor will be reserved for guests to use at any time. This will be a safe space to take a break for the event. There will be signs around the event space to show you how to find the library.

Sensory kits will be available in the space. Lights can be dimmed in the room and blinds can be drawn to suit sensory needs.

Live captions

There will be live captions on screen during the event. A stenographer will be live transcribing the talks for the event. This will not be available during the innovation challenge due to the nature of group work.

Please let us know if you need a sign language interpreter or to be seated near the screens. You can do this during the checkout process on Eventbrite.

Innovation challenge

The team challenge is from 2.30pm to 4.15pm. Guests will split into groups around the room with dedicated facilitators. Teams will work with sticky notes and pens on a large board. Your facilitators can help write ideas and scribe when needed.

There will be room for people to move around and chairs available. As with the rest of the day, guests are free to take breaks and use the quiet space as needed.

Please let us know if you’d prefer your group to be in a separate quiet space away from the main room.
